Should be able to develop and edit videos for MeHelp India

Students and others who are able to write/curate content/brief work related to activities of MeHelp India project objectives for various media houses, both print and video.

Should liaison between the team of MeHelp and various media houses

– Anyone who has a flair for writing with special focus for media in the area of mental health and has/may have prior work experience in writing in the area of health/mental health [Not mandatory]

9Graphic Designers

For developing animated videos, or brief animation in the videos

Duration of Internship: One months and Two months

1.  Guidelines for Internship:

The internship will focus on the following:

  1. Development of informative materials pertaining to project objectives. (posters, brochures, flyers).
  2. Development of content for MeHelp website and social media pages (Please have a look at the website and the social media pages to understand the type of content development).
  3. Development of videos, shooting documentaries, content writing and blogging for the website.
  4. Working in the community in the area of mental health as per the objectives envisaged by MeHelp India.
  5. Working towards innovative methods to educate the people in the community about the objectives as envisaged by MeHelp India.

Terms and Conditions

We request the candidate to keep the following points in mind during internship programme

  1. The interns are expected to take active part in the internship program/volunteer along with his/her work of interest.
  2. MeHelp India will not pay for the internship; all expenses including cost of travel, accommodation and all other personal expenses will be bore by the intern.
  3. The intern is expected to be punctual and committed to learn during the internship program.
  4. The intern is expected to abide by the policies, rules and regulations as laid by MeHelp India
  5. The intern should inform the supervisor in case of any emergency/illness, that might prevent him/her from being present or completing the internship.
  6. In case of unsatisfactory behaviour or work performance, MeHelp India will take decision to cancel the internship at any given point.
  7. MeHelp India is a part of the go-green community and thus only e-certificates will be provided after the completion of the internship/volunteer program.

2. SOP for Bloggers

Welcome on board, bloggers! We request you to keep the following points in mind as you volunteer for the project.

  • Quality of content sent to us should be culture-fair, non-discriminatory, accurate, and should follow a general code of ethics. While writing, sensitivity, relevance and originality of the content should be taken into consideration. We’d also request you to attempt to help our cause of destigmatizing mental health related issues wherever possible.
  • Depending upon your availability, you can choose to submit one 250-300 word article every 2 weeks OR 1 month (henceforth referred to as your chosen duration of cycle) at the beginning of their term. Kindly devise, adhere and send to us a schedule accordingly, to be maintained by you. This will enable us to keep a regular cycle of publishing.
  • Due credit for the article will be provided publicly to the author; however, the submission once made remains the sole property of MeHelp India.
  • Kindly provide appropriate citations if the article has been submitted and/or published with us and you would like to submit it elsewhere as well.
  • We further reserve the right to edit or otherwise change the submission for better adherance to the general standards mentioned in point 1. Wherever possible, these changes will be made in discussion with you.
  • If the article does not adhere to said standards we reserve the right to not publish, or to hold its use till a more suitable time in the future with further modifications.
  • Kindly make sure to check for plagiarism and grammar before submitting the final draft to us. Please also highlight the source of any and all images included within the submission.
  • MeHelp India does not guarantee any particular reach of the submission made.
  • If you are unable to submit for more than two consecutive cycles, kindly inform us beforehand, so we can make appropriate arrangements to cover for your content space on our website.
  • Lastly, please note that while MeHelp India does provide a Certificate for your contributions. However, we request you to give us about a week’s notice such that arrangements for replacements and your Certificate can be made.
